I wish I could only review the Grove Branch but unfortunately it doesn’t allow it that way

I left this place in TEARS, not the good ones! The owner Hannah did my hair and although the consultation was very good the end result left me bursting out in tears, I walked it very blonde and asked for a warmer toned blonde balayage. I specifically over and over said I want to be more blonde than brown and will rather come back for more brown than to walk out not a blonde. The hair was all almost one colour orangey brownish weird washed out looking colour when it was done. She then offered to try and ‘wash some of the toner out’ this did help slightly with lightening it, but overall everything was just more orange. I continued to express my utter unhappiness all while crying showing her the pictures again of what we agreed on and she kept telling me it will take 3 times to get the result. Which is BS as I came in as a Full blonde and basically wanted to add brown in a balayage method, so she didn't have to add blonde, just paint some brown. Almost like a reverse balayage. I walked out with almost NO blonde and left with a red brown mix of washed out disgust! I have never felt so ugly and angry in my life and expressed how ugly I feel, I could not stop crying. She took my to the counter and still charged me the full amount. Still crying my eyes out I decide to go to another Gary Rom salon around the corner and asked to speak to a head/master stylist. Told her my story without mentioning that I did it at Gary Rom the Grove. I was crying infront of this stylist as well. The stylist was in shock and said herself it looked like it was all one very dull looking colour and not close to how it should have looked and be done after I showed her my before photos and my goal photos. I only then told her it was at another Gary Rom and she immediately called head office and the owner of their own salon and told them my story. The owner of this 2nd salon phoned me and asked me where I am and that I can go straight to one of her 2 branches for them to try and wash out as much as they can without putting more chemicals on my hair. Happy to say that made a big difference and those stylist was in just as much shock as to colour of my hair compared to what I wanted and what I walked in with on the initial appointment. We stayed at that salon until after 7pm. I started my hair at 10am that morning at the Grove. I will never in my life return to this branch. Especially after two other Gary Rom Salons independently confirmed that my hair was completely messed up! After all of this I have to go back for I don’t know how many more sessions to actually put highlights and blonde back into my hair to get the desired look. Which is so soul destroying to me as I gave this woman ALL of the blonde hair, a full damn head of it!! Btw I also asked the other two salons if they believed my hair was done in a balayage style by Hannah, and both salons said it wasn’t close. I have never had such buyers regret, paid so much money for something so **** and had so little compassion from a person. To top it all off I have paid ALL this money , over R4000 just for my hair to go through all of these chemical processes again to get some blonde back into my hair. What a disgrace! Although the other salon is fixing this mess no charge via head office, I feel ******. How can I pay this amount, be so unhappy and have to undergo so much damage again. Stay away!
