I now have severely damaged hair...

First time ever going to a Gary Rom hair salon, I did this in the last few weeks of Dec 2021. People rave about how good they are, so I trust, I have seen some great hair walk out of there - not my style but if they can do that they sure as hell can make my hair look great.

I got that this is your hair's health ted talk on the mirror - I really liked that, and it gave me confidence in my stylist "sweet, you know what's up"

I had a lot of regrowth that I just wanted to blend into my bleach blond hair. The stylist told me that she knows what I need and told me what she was going to do; I am not a stylist, so I trust her - she works for Gary Rom, must be good then. She took really long with what she did - she only did half my head (was weird but okay, you probably know what you are doing).

My hair looked really good when I walked out of there (my pockets not soo much); you know that fresh new, straight out of the salon, curled to hide any imperfections glowing hair.

After my first wash I realised that my hair felt weird, slimy and really fragile. I did not pay too much attention to that but it started becoming a problem as the weeks went past. I just did not have the same hair anymore.

Feb 2022 I went to another stylist that does not work for Gary Rom's franchise (like, I am not going back to whoever messed up my hair!). She had a look at my hair and nearly died. I cried when she showed me how messed up my hair is.

Want to see some images for reference... The blending of my regrowth is choppy and not smooth at all. There are pieces at the back that does not even match in length nor is it doing a smooth transition. My hair is soo dry that all it want to do is suck up product like a If someone dares to cut my hair into layers the middle (between my roots and tips) will split and break off, leaving me with short short hair. I have never had such gross looking hair in my entire life.

How is that okay?
