1985 Conditioner is Terrible - Why has the formula changed?

So disappointed I got the 1985 conditioner treatment, haven't bought it in a few months (since I removed my Gary Rom hair extensions) was so upset to discover their winning formula had changed. It no longer leaves your hair smelling like a million bucks and the conditioner is pretty average (similar to Clicks conditioner). Why has their conditioner changed? It costs over R550, and was expecting a luxurious smelling conditioner which leaves your hair feeling like silk. It now has no smell and is pretty average! So disappointing. was supposed to be a treat for December, so much for that :(
