Avoid Garth's Plumbing Services

I recently used this service provider for two jobs, a burst geyser and fixing a tap and some pipes. Whilst I have no reason to fault the work that Garth and his team did, his attitude was extremely poor and he was exceedingly unpleasant to deal with after completing the jobs. Garth sent me a series of texts after 10pm at night (2 days after the job was completed and he had sent me the invoices), demanding that I pay immediately - the phrases he used were "honour my word", "come to the party", etc. It was so uncalled for, especially since I had already paid him for the larger job (over R8000), and sent proof of payment earlier that day, he just had not bothered to check his email. The reason I had not yet paid for the small job (R1000) was that I had not talked to him on the phone so that he could describe the work. I had emailed earlier saying that I would call him the following day, and he seemed to assume that this was me saying I would not be paying. I will never use this plumber again, and especially if you are a woman, I suggest you avoid him, he is a bully and very disrespectful.
