Dark hair VS Brown hair

I recently purchased a Garnier 3.23 hair color, I am a natural brunette and often play around with shades of brown. Dark quartz looked amazing on the box and was the choice I made, however after using the colour on Tuesday, I am now dark haired!!!<br> It looks ********** and I am terribly upset as I have to wait 2 weeks before I can recolor. Now for a function I have to attend this weekend, I will look unrecognizable. How can you have the incorrect labelling on PERMANENT hair color???
