What a shame
Let me start off by saying , the product is beyond brilliant , the S60 is by far the best GPS Golf tracking system 'ive ever seen or heard of , very happy with my purchase . So much so , I have 2 friends arriving from the Netherlands next week , and they too , on my recommendation, will be purchasing your S60 .
Now for the bad …… Your after-sales service is disgusting. you have made it almost impossible for YOUR customer to contact you regarding queries , questions , troubleshooting and/or basic help regarding their new purchases . I eventually got help from a YouTube bloke as you have not answered one of my correspondences.
For a company like Garmin , you certainly know how to put a bad spin on an otherwise great name . I strongly suggest you focus on your new customer :
1 .. A live text service, answering questions from those that haven’t a clue how to understand an operation manual ( start a country dependant WhatsApp group , or something along that way of thinking ) . 2 .. Social Media … Open an official facebook/Twitter Page your customer can join to chat with other Garmin users , policed by yourselves to resolve queries. 3 .. A live toll free Contact number ( Country dependant ) so we have someone to talk to when our product is not cooperating 4 .. Better training for ALL staff selling your products ( yes , the chap who sold me the S60 didn't know the technical aspects of said watch. ) 5 .. An official email address/ contact details etc IN THE ACTUAL BOX. This is the most important point I want to make. Not everyone that purchases a Garmin product is tech savvy , ergo , often its a frightening , daunting task setting up ones new hardware . How great it would be if, when opening the box, there is a page with every form of contact need to get hold of a Garmin technician to help us. Now THAT would go a long way , plus the message you would be sending to your customers is simple , we actually DO care about you , even after you have bought from us !
Garmin has a great name , however your name is also being dragged through the mud on social media ( check facebook , Hello Peter etc ) Purely because of your “ we dont care “ attitude once we the people have bought your product.
I hope you take what I say into consideration , I love Garmin , don't make me change my mind
