Vivoactive HR powered off

I Bought a Garmin Vivoactive HR in February 2018. In Oct 2019 the watch did not want to power on. Courier it to Garmin South Africa who sent a response that it is "un repairable" as the fault and with quotation of R2k for replacement. It is really disappointing buying a watch that is worth 5k but only works for 1.5 years. This shows that Garmin watch quality is of poor standards.
