Stuck with Blank Watch

I bought a Forerunner 35 in June 2018. The watch just went blank in August 2019 and Garmin told me that, I must pay R1950 to replace whatever that was wrong with it. They further told me that, the guarantee will only be 90 days. I am now stuck with a blank watch and don't know what to do. Garmin has really let me down on this one.
