STAY AWAY FROM GARMIN!

Bought a Garmin Vivoactive HR watch on takealot. The watch lasted exactly 1 year and 9 months then just didn’t switch on. Took the watch to navworld cause they are the approved agents. Paid R250 to get the watch to Garmin in JHB. 2 weeks later I received a mail to say the watch is beyond repair but they would sell me a refurb unit for R2000. A new watch is R3000 and I paid R4000. Guys stay away. When I queried this I asked if I could get a “credit” to purchase something else as was not prepared to pay R2000 for a refurb uno where I could pay R3000 to get it new. They just said they replace like for like.
