Poor aftersales support from Garmin.

I bought an online marine map for my Garmin handheld GPS. Despite having paid, and received confirmation of purchase, the purchased map does not appear on my profile. I have made contact with Garmin in numerous ways, but still no resolution to the problem. This is an expensive purchase that just does not work, and Garmin is almost impossible to get hold of for any assistance in this regard, other than through a distributor. My own emails to Garmin have not had any response other than an automated confirmation of receipt. This is poor service and one would have expected more from such an otherwise reputable brand.
