Garmin wearables do not last longer than the 12 month warranty period

Purchased a Garmin Vivo Active 3 in January 2019. I experienced pairing issues with my Phone (Huawei), as well as issues with the heart rate monitor. I sent my Garmin to Sportsmans Warehouse, which they sent into to Garmin, and my Garmin was replaced with another Garmin Vivo Active 3. A couple of months later I started experiencing the same issues with the heart rate monitor and the Garmin also would not stay connected to my phone (at the time I had upgraded to an iphone).

Covid hit, and wasn't able to send my watch in again, not that would have helped as it was recently brought to my attention, when I tried sending in the watch a few weeks ago that Garmin fitness products are sold with a 12 month warranty (i thought it was 24) or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase In warranty replacement device’s carry a 90 day warranty or the balance of the original 12 month warranty whichever is longer.

I was gifted a Garmin Fenix 6s in 12 December 2019 which I now also have connection issues with till today. I physically have to log into the app and reconnect the watch to my phone every hour or so, as it automatically disconnects. I also cant send it in as the warranty period had expired.

R21 000 worth of Garmin wearables, and none of them have lasted longer than 2 years.
