Garmin Vivoactive3 exchange

I purchased a garmin vivoactive 3, 2 weeks after receiving the unit it started giving me a lot of issues. I returned the unit asking for full refund. Garmin found the device faulty and said policy they do not refund they will replace it. I feel i should be able to get full refund or at least the option to replace it with a different model.

During the two weeks vivoactive 4 came out, i then said fine don't refund it but at least give me the option to get the new model. They said gamin does not do upgrade. So you are willing to send me brand new watch but not the option to change model or upgrade it. This is such bad service.
