Garmin south Africa sub par repairs and terrible customer service

i sent my garmin watch in f0or repairs, nobody responded to me for over two weeks. i then followed up on the repair to be told the watch couldn't be fixed and they were unwilling to assist with replacing the watch as they didnt have any Fennix 7's available. they offered me a far inferior watch at a discount, i did not find this acceptable, so i stated; i wanted like or better and would pay the difference in watch prices. they stated a shipment would be arriving in march and i would need to wait for the shipment. it is now past march and Garmin south Africa is stating that i never ordered the watch and the quote is invalid. they are sitting with my broken Fennix and are unwilling to assist. do not buy a Garmin watch the service in south Africa is below par.
