Garmin much too slow with repairs

I bought a Garmin Forerunner 55 from Cape Union Mart Mall of Africa in July 2021. It just stopped working after less than 4 months so I took it back to the store. The battery just doesn't charge. It's been almost two weeks after I have handed it in and they started with repairs only now. I would have liked to use it during the December holidays, but that's not possible now.

Frankly, for such an expensive product that broke after 4 months I would expect it to be replaced on the spot.
