Garmin Montana 650
I have purchased a Garmin Montana 650 and one month after the warranty expired the GPS broke and I sent it for repairs through Navworld which Garmin South Africa told me to send it too. Navworld could not repair the GPS and sent it to Garmin itself, Garmin could however also not fix the GPS and I was forced to buy a new GPS at a discounted price. I feel this is unacceptable since it broke through no fault of my own and was thus a factory fault and I was still forced to buy a new one which was expensive.

Furthermore, after I collected my new GPS and asked for my SD card with my maps on from my old GPS they claimed it was not in the GPS. I did not take out the SD card since i thought it could be a cause of the problems. Thereafter I contacted Garmin South Africa in order to get the maps as well as my Birds Eye imagery from my old GPS to my new one. The birds eye imagery was restored I have however been waiting for a month to fix the map problem and I have to send an email everyday to get a response to no avail. I use my GPS daily for field work and it is becoming increasingly difficult to conduct my work.
