Garmin heart rate straps - the worst

Garmin heart rate straps need to be replaced every one and half years at a cost of R1500-R2000 Garmin can never repair it - latest one was used a few times - sending it back now BUT probably get the same response. Don't use their heart rate straps - doesn't last long and Garmin SA service really bad. They dont seem to care that their product doesn't last long. A few retailers in SA also confirmed issues with heart rate straps and recommended a switch to Polar - lasts longer
