GARMIN GPS NO BACKUP OR SUPPORT

I cannot believe that GARMIN SOUTH AFRICA do not support their own products!!! Their comment when I asked them about a battery change was,” We don’t replace batteries, you’ll have to buy a new GPS “ this is unacceptable and poor service to say the least!!! It took me exactly 1 minute to open the NUVI GPS that is only 3 years old and in perfect condition except the battery. GARMIN should advertise that their GPS units are disposable once the warranty has run out!!! Please be aware if this when you plan to buy you next GPS!
