GArmin fenix 2 waterproof failure

I have a garmin fenix 2 that got water on the inside of the watcg (keep in mind the watch sould be waterproof) i sent it in and now garmin want me to pay R1927.40 to sent me the same watch again?? what?? i have already boauth the watch for over R6000 and got water damege and now i have to pay again to recieve a new but still the same make and model?? what does that meens that i goint to be pay over R8000 for a finix 2???? the fenix 3 cost brand new not even R8000 anymore. please garmin you surely can do better than this???
