Garmin Fenix 2 water leak

Hi there

This review is not a good one im afraid. I currently have my second Garmin Fenix 2 sports gps watch and it has just let me down again. I had it one month over its 2 year warranty which means the company could just turn a cold shoulder and thats exactly what they have done. I have never dropped or abused my watch, neither have i performed any dives with it or exposed it to extreme conditions and yet the glass face has just come loose from the frame. I was busy doing some dishes and i saw water coming in to the device. It turned off shortly after and it doesn't work anymore. I emailed Garmin Spain explaining the situation and they sent me back a document explaining the warranty details and said that i could pay them 130 euros and they will have a look at it. I know i am out of warranty( just by one month) ,but i at-least expected a better response from them or some sort of compensation as i haven't done anything malicious to the device. I have always supported Garmin and their devices are some of the most expensive ones on the market. I did some research and i am not the first one that this happened to. I was planning on getting the new Fenix but this has definitely swayed my mind about the company.
