Garmin does not respond to spares request

I want to buy a battery for my Garmin GPS, First action was to take it to a dealer, that proved impossible no dealer interested in helping me they all say it would be too expensive to replace. They said replacing the battery would cost more than a new GPS<br> <br> Then I opened my GPS and took the battery out, I emailed Garmin for a price on the battery, I gave them the serial number, model number, barcode and they didn't even respond with availability or price.<br> <br> Bad service Garmin.<br> <br> I bought a cell phone battery of the same size and capacity, connected the wires and for R150 my GPS is working again.<br>
