FR60 unable to repair

<p>I bought the Ladies Garmin FR60 about two years ago and after about a year it stopped working. I took it in to Sportsman's Warehouse where i had bought it originally, and asked them to send it to Garmin for repairs. The outcome was that it was impossible to repair the watch and that I had to pay in R1000 towards a new watch (Garmin would cover the rest, approximately R600). I paid in and got the new watch and recently it stopped working. Again I sent it back to Garmin through Sportsman's warehouse and i just received the response that Garmin cannot repair the watch and that they will replace the unit, and I have to pay in R1200 (they will cover the remaining R700). I find this completely unacceptable; in effect it means that I will have bought the same watch three times! I would appreciate some feedback from Garmin. A good quality watch should last for more than a year and the mnufacturer should replace the unit free of charge it it has stopped working due to no fault of mine.</p>
