Forerunner 45s failure!!

My Garmin forerunner 45s strap broke for the second time. I sent it to the repair centre and was informed that it is a cosmetic issue. There is nothing cosmetic about a watch strap not being attached to the watch. That is the sole purpose of the strap. The design is poor an noticeably the only garmin with this design… They sent a quote for this apparently cosmetic issue for almost R2000, almost the price of a new one. A lot of money if it is only going to break again soon!! These are expensive watches and can’t be replaced every time tye strap breaks. I was prepared to pay but this is ridiculous!
