MY HAT DISAPPEARED FROM MY HOTEL ROOM

I checked in at the Garden Court South Beach Hotel on 06 October 2024 and I was to check out on 10 October 2024. On Monday I wore a my K-Way Storm Floppy hat as it was hot, which I brought back to the room in the afternoon and I saw it in my room the next morning on Tuesday 08 October 2024 before I left to attend to the business which I had come to Durban for. However, I did not use the hat that morning as it was raining. The next morning on 9 October 2024, I noticed that the hat was no longer in the room. I looked for it but I couldn't find it and, I reported this at the hotel's reception, only to be told that the staff at the hotel are honest people who would never ***** from guests. I do not know what happened to my hat but, I know for a fact that it disappeared from my room while I was not in it. I am disheartened, especially by the dismissive attitude of staff at the hotel's reception which negatively colored my experience at the hotel.
