Woolworths Pavilion

Dear Peter,

I shopped at Woolworths Sandton City on 15 December 2016, just after 08:30pm. It happened that one of my purchased parcels was misplaced at the till and ended up leaving the store without it. I had to travel to Durban early the next morning and therefore decided to query this when I arrive in Durban at Woolworths Pavilion which is nearby the N3.

I was assisted by two store managers, namely, Zothani Mbokazi and Lunga Mhlongo. My husband and I were very astonished with the service we received from the two store managers. The manner our query was handled and resolved was extremely appreciated, which is something you never seem to receive from retail managers these days. I even wish to fly down to Durban (Woolworths Pavilion) everytime I want to shop at a Woolworths.

I guess this is a Woolworths Pavilion approach, becuase the next day, I insisted to drive back to the store with my husband and mother to purchase beverages, merely becuase of the service I received the previous day! We found two "Indian" males store managers assisting a "White" male customer and I was very keen to see and hear their approach as I moved towards them pretending to be shopping. Wow, I was impressed once again, the customer and his wife looked impressed too. I then realised that, this approach of two managers attending one customer query is an interesting tradition at Woolworths Pavilion which I exceedingly liked.

I wish to give Woolworths Pavilion many happy faces and hope that they approach is not only being experienced by myself, but all other South Africans and International tourists. Keep it up Guys :-)
