Worst service from Game

We attempted to purchase a TV on credit from Game on 08 August, we were sent to a cashier who proceeded to apply for a TV license in our name, never informing us that she was doing this, we thought she was opening our account at Game, once she was finished with the TV License, she rang up the TV and requested around 7K outright from us. We then had to explain again that we do not want to purchase a TV outright but that we requested a credit application. The cashier then said that she cancelled everything and sent us to the correct department to apply for the credit option, where we had to go through the whole process again. The application was declined, so we NEVER bought the TV, either outright or on credit. Now we have been handed over for the TV license!!!! When we attempted to inquire at the store or on the phone, we were sent from pillar to post, No one is prepared to sort this out and cancel the license that we never app**** for, instead we are told by the collection agency to get a letter from Game, Game tells us to go and get an affidavit, TV licences tells us that it's not their problem, we owe the money. What a terrible experience, every visit to the store has just been more infuriating as the incompetence of the staff is just shocking. Why can this not be cancelled by the store that opened it in error????
