Worst Service ever...

So I bought a Stramm 52cc bush cutting machine at Game which costs R2400 and after using it two times it breaksdown. I took it back to the store because the warranty is 2 years and i still have the proof of purchase. Instead of being helped they said i must pay R1550 for it to be repaired mind you the machine was bought in November 2023 and broke down January of 2024.. Exactly what is the Guarantee/ Warranty for? How can i deal with this matter I tried the head office they said they will deal with it internally and just went silent after that and only receive a message asking for a review of the srvice i receive....
