Why is my refund taking so long to reflect

I returned an item and i was refunded on Saturday back to my game card yet the refund is still not showing on my card via the app. How long does this actually take ,R25 airtime later I get transferred from one agent to another who cannot give me answers . I had a similar incident at checkers and my refund reflected immediately.
