What a mission to buy a TV

In the electronics department the personnel was chatting in a circle and we received no help. We decided on a TV and they told us that they only had the one on display. We decided to take it. After waiting at the desk while they did all the paperwork, the lady helping us called a manager. This manager phoned the head office because the TV was on promotion and the price on the system was not correct . He then told the lady helping us to call her manager to come and authorise something. When she got there these two managers started fighting about who should authorise this. Then they informed us that they threw away our TV's box and they wanted us to take it just like it was on display. After voicing our unhappiness about this they brought another TV out of storage and took it out of the box and put our TV in there. It took forever to get the TV in the box, and out again at security and back in again. On our way home they phoned us to ask if we could please come back because they left the other TV's stand in our box. After unpacking our TV there was no extra stand in there. It took us 1.5 hours to buy a TV. I have never experienced such bad service before.
