Wasted my time & petrol for nothing.

At the end of last month,there was an item in Games Birthday Catalogue that I was interested in,a wrist watch,to be precise.I called the Vaal Mall branch & spoke to a lady by the name of Susan at the jewellery counter,She promised to keep the watch aside for me,even took down my name & contact details.When I went to buy the watch on Friday,01/05/2015,I was told by her co-worker,that Susan wouldn't be in till the following week & that she knew nothing about the watch being kept aside for me.She also told me that she had sold the last one from the display earlier.So after promising to keep the item aside for me,Susan not only neglected to tell me that she would be on leave over the long weekend,or who I should talk to instead,she also neglected to put the watch aside for me & left the last one in the display case,from where it was sold.Furthermore,she never mentioned her conversation with me to her colleague,& despite having my contact details,never bothered to call & inform me not to waste my time & petrol going all the way down to the Vaal Mall FOR NOTHING,since the last watch of the type I wanted had been sold,since she never bothered to put it aside for me to begin with.
