Was misled to bring a 55" Hisense TV that had a technical problem to the store

I bought a Hisense 55" December 2019, then in February this year it had a Technical problem, called the customer service to log a call in order for them to send a technician from Hisense, of which they referred it to Game Promenade mall. I then received a call from Thabane at Promanade who misled me by saying I don't qualify for my set to be collected nor for a technician to be sent because I didn't pay for delivery when I bought the TV. I then took the set to my surprise when I got to the store it had a crack due to the fact that it's a big TV and I wasn't supposed to be told to take it to the store.

They refused the TV set and was told to take it myself at hisense and get a quote then they are willing to pay 50% of the quote. I had to take it back as is, then I called the call center again and again trying to get assistance.

I called Hissense to check if they even logged a call regarding my problem and was told nothing appears on their system.

I went to the store and spoke to the store manager Mr Quinton Bester and he wasn't helpful at all but I felt miss treated as he told me the same thing I was told before and that because I feel his stuff was *********** by giving me wrong information he will only pay 50%.

I then took the TV again to game, and eventually I managed to speak to Thabane, he then offered that I should buy a Demo TV and he will give me a reasonable price of which I refuse to do so because my TV is hardly a year and a half old and why should I pay for another TV when I still have a warranty.

I then reported the matter to consumers complaints and got a response that my TV was taken to Hisense and was given an incorrect log reference number that turned out to be of that of a cellphone.

Until this day I have not heard from anyone from Game Promenade. It's 4 months down without a TV and not knowing what happened to my TV
