Warranty Issue with TV - Game Stores

Very Unhappy with the Post Service i Received from Game. Bought a TV in 2021 March and was told it had a 4 Year Warranty. Now when the TV is broken, I am told no sorry its only for 3 years and I had to register the last year and pay extra for the 4th year. I numerous asked where this was communicated, but are just being told, sorry, it is what it is. Even made a complaint at Head Office, but are just being told sorry. Head office arrange that they will Game Kathu will atleast help me with a repair Qoute, but with return to the Shop, its same story....Sorry...we are not allowed to do it. Please be sure to read the Fine Print when buying a TV, as for me this is False Adverti*****t. Hisense TV's on the Web Site says 4 year Warranty, but its actually only three years.

Hi Matthys, thanks for getting in touch. I completely apologize for the miscommunication and for the inconvenienced this has caused. Looking through your query, it was found that, yes there was lack of communication on our end, but Game cannot honor the extension of the warranty period as the request were to be utilized by yourself. I am aware that this matter has affected you, but you're more than welcome to take the item in store for a quotation.

The Item is still in the store, and Game Kathu simply said, sorry, they are not allowed to help me with a quote....that's not there Policy. I paid a Local guy R500.00 just to go check, and he rep**** no sorry, he cant help, I need to send it to Bloemfontein. What's frustrating is the lack of Communication from Games side, but now the cost due to that is for my account. If i was Informed about this, I would have registered and there would have been no problem.

And Still if I go onto Game's Website, it states 4 Year Warranty for Hisense TV's...all of them. So is it 4 Years Warranty, or actually 3 Years and you need to register for the last Year. That's my frustration regarding this!!

I hear you Matthys, but when looking  through the owner's manual, all the term's and condition's are straightened out. Since your item is now in store, this matter will be sent off, so we our team may provide feedback.

My Problem is not with Owners Manual of Hisense but with Game. Please do answer how can you advertise a TV for certain amount, and included is a 4 Year Warranty....but after buying it, you must find out its actually 3 years Warranty, and you need to pay more for an extra year. That's False Advertising. You can not sell me something, and than after buying it, the agreement of the Sale are changed. That's my Issue. Nowhere it was communicated with the sale regarding this matter.
