very unhappy with service

We baught a benett read zoom vacuum cleaner last year January, now just out of its one year guarantee it it started to melt the filter cover, and you can smell the vacuum burning out wile using it, on Wednesday we phoned the store to ask what we must do to get it repaired, the Guy on the phone said that all bennett products have a 2 year guarantee , i said to him but on the box it says one year, then again he said bennett products has a 2 year guarantee, so we took it in on saturday, and told them that we spoke to a guy that stated the vacuum is still under guarantee, they told us there its only one year, the lady said to me who ever we spoke toe must have been high or something, , i am very unhappy about this, if i knew that this was not going to be fixed under guarantee i would of never took it back to the store,, the item is in for repairs now, but i am not paying the repairing fees as i were told its got a 2 year guarantee, please get someone to sort this out.. and find the person i spoke to and fire him as he does not know what he is doing there
