Very disappointed with Game’s Black Friday service
I bought items they advertised for Black Friday, only to be told days later that they “can’t fulfil the order” and will just refund me. This is unacceptable. If you advertise items, you should deliver them. I don’t want a refund — I want the products that were promoted. Game needs to honour their Black Friday promises instead of misleading customers.

03 Dec 2025, 17:12 Thank you for your response, but I am not satisfied with this explanation. The issue is not simply that the item was out of stock — the problem is that Game advertised this product for Black Friday, allowed customers to purchase it, took payment, and only afterwards cancelled the order. This is misleading and unacceptable. If an item is advertised and sold during a major promotion, customers have every reason to believe that stock has been properly allocated. Blaming “system errors” or “delays in stock updates” does not excuse the failure to honour an advertised deal. I am not looking for a refund. I want Game to supply the item at the advertised price, even if that means sourcing it from another branch, warehouse, or supplier. Other major retailers honour their promotions when errors occur — Game should do the same. Please escalate this matter to a senior manager who can provide a proper resolution. I expect Game to honour its Black Friday promotion, not hide behind system issues.
