uninformed guarantee

i purchased a logik 10000btu portable aircon at game on 14/01/2016 and it just stopped working.<br> <br> my receipt is faded i called the store to enquire wat can b done as i have the voucher number to track the purchase apparently that cant b done but they will read the faded ink. i was then told the unit will b fixed rather than returned for a new product. at no point during, after, or before purchase was i advised on the GUARANTEE being a WARRANTY. <br> <br> i have a seven month old little girl that has jus been for cranio surgery and cannot b subjected to high temperatures i cannot wait out this. i have called the NCC and hope to get some feedback today.
