Unhappy and bad service

We bought a Philips iron on 27 May 2019 I jus stopped working doesn't come on or heat up wen we went to game store richards bay where bought the iron we are told the iron needs to be send for repairs which will take about 21days becos the price of the iron is more then R300. We initially wanted a Russell Hobbs but they had no stock and it was less then R300 so we were adviced to buy the Philips which was R499 but also not informing us about the repair process if above R300
