Unfair cancellation

Good morning,

I am so disappointed of the way i was trested few weeks ago at game store ,i had secured a sale discount if a fridge i so loved from 30k to 20k ,due to network issues i couldn't pay the layby of 20% thst was required. Dispute many times i communicated with the sales man to check if my layby was still secured he assured me it was since i have papers which showed my approval of the layby ,what was left was for me to go make payment. A few weeks past before month end i went wanted to pay the deposit when i strived at northam game i wasctold that it was cancelled when i asked on which ground the respond was not right.I even called before driving to check and i was still assired i can come make payment...i had to drive 30km just to be told my layby was cancelled fur to non payment which was not even caused by me.I had ospers to proof that it was secured ....but now im expected to pay 30k this isnt fair honestly. I feel that my right as consumer was not treated fair please assist me
