Treating customers like *********
Went to the Bell Air store this afternoon to buy another OVHD and then decided to get a DVD player as well. I was given both products and on my way to the curtains a lady with an openview t-shirt on came and took the OVHD out of my basket and told me that I would have to first pay for it & then I would have to go back into the store and find her and show her POP. When I told her that it was ridiculous that I hadn't finished shopping, she said she would follow me. I then asked for the manager and this person didn't have anything on his person to prove that he was the manager. He then said that there was high theft in the department and it was policy. What they overlooked is why didn't they take both items if theft was so high. Most important there was no sign in the department or store noting this policy. There is also no CCTV in the store. Yet the store has allegedly got staff who are not properly identifiable treating customers in such a disrespectful manner. How do I know it's not a con. Why have the products on the shelf in the first place. I bought my previous OVHD from the store and didn't experience this. In fact I have never experienced something so shocking like this at the store before. There is also a Consumer Protection Act which Game should look into. There's other retailers that stock the OVHD, dvd players and curtains.
