The price you see is the price you pay.

I visited the store a few times in the beginning of December and saw this tent displayed for R799. I finally decided to go and purchase the tent with my friend and he then also wanted to buy one when he saw the display. As we proceeded to the till point to purchase the tents, they informed us that the price was not the price displayed. It was scanning at R1199. We then asked why it was clearly displayed for R799 and they dismissively said that's how they display it. We left after waiting 23mins for the sales manager to come and tell us the same thing the consultant said. When I went back to the store days later I noticed they changed the display for the increased price. Which is admission of guilt. My consumer rights were violated and they are accepting no responsibility. The price you see is the price you pay. They've lost a client for life.
