Strongly avoid unless you're prepared to take legal action just to get what you paid for

I ordered a TV on 10 May via Game Online with order ***. It arrived just over a week later on 18 May and was damaged on arrival. I immediately contacted Game web support to raise the issue and forwarded them photos of the damages. It was collected on 20 May and sent for assessment. A week later on 27 May I was told that no fault was found - no repairs or exchange was conducted and the damaged TV was returned to me on 28 May. I immediately requested that the damaged TV be exchanged for a new one, again submitted photos of the damages and was advised the matter had been escalated. It's been a week now with no feedback. The TV has been sitting in it's original packaging on my living room floor while I wait for feedback for which I've made numerous phone calls and follow-up emails. Without fail I am advised the matter has been re-escalated and that a manager would call me back to assist but have received no further contact. Left with no choice, I've lodged a formal complaint with the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud. This has undoubtedly been the worst consumer experience I've ever been through just to exchange a product that arrived defective with a new one. Avoid transacting with Game Online with a 20-foot pole unless you've already made the mistake and are forced to take legal action just to get what you paid for.
