Still waiting for my raincheck two weeks later

Good day,

I had asked for a rain check on an item that was on special @ Game Galleria. Its been two weeks and every time i call in, i keep getting the answer we do not have stock. While talking to the manager on duty he had said there is nothing he could do but wait for stock.

This creates a problem for, should i wait for a year to get this item? with no timeline on when they would receive this stock. IS this how a business should operate???
