Selling an item that has been paid for
On 2015-08-09 I visited Game Klerksdorp where Thabang helped me purchase a washing machine that was to be delivered by the East London store to my home in Gonubie. Since I would only be back on September 2nd, we arranged delivery for that date. His conversation with Thembakazi didn't go well as she insisted that the transaction couldn't be done that way. Thabang told her that the item was paid for and that she had to keep the machine, regardless of the period. My big fight started on September 3rd. Upon arrival at the store in Vincent Park, I was informed by Alletta that there was no stock. The other sales lady asked whether I had received an sms notifying me of the delivery, but I denied receiving any notification. Thembakazi entered the equation and she told me point out blank that my transaction was invalid as the item was purchased on a discount, and that she couldn't keep it for delivery at a later stage. My machine had been sold. I then proceeded to the display item, saying I would take it (R100 discount) and cancelled delivery as well, since there was no box and I'd rather risk scratching it myself. Funny that 2 different stores have 2 different policies. Game isn't \game". """
