Screen defect under warranty 2months old

Screen defect with in warranty no proof of negligence. Requested replacement but store refused and denied might right under CPA. Phone was send for evaluation returned evaluation: No written findings, no explanation of negligence, no photos referenced, not even the cost fields filled in. There is literally no documented evidence on this paper that says "customer misuse" or explains why.still denied refund
