Salesman pushing numbers

My business partner and I each went to purchase a TV. While weighing up our options between the various brands we finally decided on 2 off the 60\ Hisense Smart TV's. We were told by the salesman Pierre that these specific TV's run at 400hz. Soon after purchasing these TV's I realised that mine had a ghost effect. I adjusted the settings as best possible and it seemed to go away. About a week or so later I noticed the ghost effect again and once more I adjusted the settings and it seemed to go away. At that point I blamed a power failure for the settings to have reset themselves. Again this happened but when going into the settings of the TV all seemed to be in order. I then spoke to my partner and asked him what his experience had been with his identical TV and mentioned all seemed to be ok but that he also noticed his TV was only running at 50hz irrelevant of the input being either blu ray dvd or satellite. I then approached the salesman at Game to discuss this and was assured someone would contact me to rectify. This morning my partner walked into the office and said he cant even watch TV because the ghost effect is so bad. This brand is sub standard and so is the salesman!"
