Russell hobbs vacum

I bought a RUSSELL HOBBS VACUUM CLEANER from GAME one year ago thinking it is going to last me a lifetime as RUSSELL HOBBS PRODUCTS are highly recommended, After 12 months of having the vacuum it broke and I was unable to make use of the vacuum so thinking Game would assist me in refunding me my money back they refused to refund me and wanted to repair the machine, i was not satisfied with this decision as it was 1 week after the 1 year guarantee date on the slip. I was told by a young man in the Department of the Vacuums that I will be refunded but Customer services as well as the Manager decided otherwise, Russell Hobbs is supposedly a good product I paid 1000 rand for a stupid machine that didn't have any lifetime guarantee, Game even gave me the suppliers number regarding my machine saying I must contact them to have the machine repaired without having to pay for repairs I am highly disappointed in this product and lost my money as I bought a gensis vacuum machine already , I don't understand why the person in the department said I would be refunded but this was override by superiors, money lost 1000rand not a ten rand totally disgusted
