Ridiculous service with regards to an inferior product

In 2015 I bought an Electrolux vacuum cleaner at Game Centurion for R990.

It stopped working and I returned it to Game Lephalale for repairs.

Collected it and it worked twice before breaking again. I phoned Lephalale who just said to take it into the store again, as it was still under warranty. At that stage, the machine had already cost me more than the purchase price. After lengthy and quite unpleasant and not helpful conversations through Game Head Office, they decided to exchange the machine for me for a new one.

I then had to drive to Lephalale again to return the faulty one and collect the new one - that was in March 2016. They again gave me the full 12 month warranty with the new machine.

In June, the new machine stopped working and I started the whole complaining process again.

The faulty machine is still in my possession.

No one seems to care or is able to address this issue.

Just some math with regards to my costs incurred with this machine.

Bought the first one in Pretoria. R990

Returned it to Lepahale for repairs = Day off from work. 220km roundtrip.

Collected repaired machine from Game Lephalale = Day off from work. 220km round trip

Returned broken machine again and collected new one = Day off from work. 220km round trip

Now, they excpect me to AGAIN drive to a Game store (Lephalale is the closest one to me), hand in the faulty one and on another day drive there again to collect.

This is the most ridiculous service with a totally inferior product!

I would appreciate any assistance and NON-costly solution to this issue from either Game stores or Electrolux South Africa.
