Refusing to fix my broken fridge

I bought a Hisense Mirror fridge from Game stores in westgate and all of a sudden the glass broke. When i called to report the matter with Game westgate I was advised that they would not assist as it is negligence which is impossible. How do you intentionally break something you have saved up for years to buy? Was told they would contact Hisense to advise how much it would cost to fix it and i would be liable for the money to repair the fridge. No one has made contact with me still.

What is the point of having a warranty if these conditions are only explained to you when you have a problem?? Very disappointed!!
