Refund didn't go through ..recharge went through
Bought a Brabantia food processor from Game Green-acres in Port Elizabeth on the 19th for my wife for our 34 anniversary (R1599.00). Before even switching it on noticed something was broken so on the morning of the 20th June returned it for a full credit.

Took it back for a credit and they refunded me, as i was leaving Standard bank informed me via sms that a purchase of R1599.00 had just gone through on my credit card not a credit from Game.

Game stated that no purchase can go through from that speed point and its Standard Banks fault and Standard Bank ***** division stated Game have recharged me R1599.00 and no credit had gone through. I understand that a credit does take 48 hours some times but the lady doing the refund did swipe my card twice and the first time did ask for my pip code but not the second time. the first time she did state it was a card error for some or other reason and I do believe its all a mix-up between Game and Standard Bank BUT i am have still been charged twice for a food processor I don't have.

All I am asking is that Game please follow it up with Standard Bank Card Division and who will pay for all these bank charges?

Johann
