Recall on Mainstay Serial Number JC403 Multi Hinged Ladder

Please kindly note that we purchased one of these ladders a few years back and I kept the receipt for the 1 warranty and no longer have the proof of purchase so Game advised me that they will give me a R1000 gift card but all we want is another ladder similar to this but we must now pay in R600 +- when this is a recall and not our fault it should be exchanged to another ladder and not have to pay in.

I am not happy to pay in extra so will rather keep the ladder and take my chances. This does not benefit the consumer at all because you are losing if you need another ladder similar to the one that has been recalled. If I can remember correctly we paid about R1299.
