I have been trying to convince my wife to move from electricity stove to gas for a couple of years,then on Tuesday night she informed me that she saw an add for cadac two plate gas burner on sale at Game for R399.I then agreed to get her to try the gas as she was still a bit two minded(we grew up with gas and she was more worried if there's a gas leak and things like that)we then went to the Game store in promenade Mitchell's plain when I got there i asked around as to where we can find the gas appliances and was directed to the area,and there it was just as my wife showed me the pic.On display was a cadac two burner on display for R399 and next to it was a box with regulator and pipe inside the box totally separate from everything else,I then checked the box and saw there was a barcode on and took a box with the same barcode and went to the till the cashier scanned and told me that's its R699 I told her its R399 on the floor,she called a supervisor who just said it's not this one and I said well we can go check on the floor as it's there o display,very abruptly she took the box and walked of I still said I will carry the box as it's a bit heavy and she's a woman but she just said it's fine I'll carry the box,we got there I showed her and said she will get someone else because the one that I have is R699,she called another guys that's working in the dept i explained and showed him but he to was just it's not his problem someone must have mistakenly put that over there,he called the sales manager,by this time we were again at customer service in front of the store from there we went again to sales floor,he stood there asked me questions about the barcode and the label code which I weren't intrested in because I saw a product with a price on and next to it a open box with the accessories inside.i left the store without my two plate and all they said were not there problem someone made mistake,no apologies or helpfulness.I would never go or advise family or friends to go to that promenade store as that was the worst I've ever experienced in the retail sector
