Promises, promises...

On 06th December 2015 I obtained a call-back voucher for 4 X 4 Gillette M3 blades which were advertised for R309. Since then I have received regular SMS's informing me that Game was still out of stock. On 04/2/2016 I called the store and spoke to Lopis who advised me that due to the protracted delay in receiving stock, Game will nonetheless give me 4 four-packs for R309 immediately. I called at the store on 07/02/2016 and in the absence of Lopis, was referred to the Store Manager Donovan who initially stated that Lopis was going against Game policy by making such an 'offer'. He then proceeded to the toiletries aisle and pointed out to me that he was out of stock of the 4-blade-packs. I pointed out to him that there was sufficient stock at the till-points and we proceeded in that direction. Donovan took the different variants, viz. regular, sensitive, & turbo and scanned each item to check the price. When he discovered that the lowest priced item was in excess of R150, he back-tracked and repeated his line about Lopis having conveyed incorrect information. He took down my contact details and promised that I would be contacted the following day. I am still waiting - 2 days later.
